About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Storekeeper to join our Housekeeping Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Managing the inventory
- Ensure that all housekeeping supplies, such as linens, cleaning chemicals, guest amenities, and equipment, are in stock.
- Maintain an inventory check schedule to resolve stock discrepancies on a regular basis.
- Stock replenishments and requisitions
- Ensure that all housekeeping supplies, such as linens, cleaning chemicals, guest amenities, and equipment, are in stock.
- Maintain an inventory check schedule to resolve stock discrepancies on a regular basis.
- Organization of the storeroom
- Ensure that the housekeeping storage area is clean, organized, and secure.
- Make sure all items are stored in their designated areas and in a manner that makes them accessible to the housekeeping staff.
- Maintaining records and reporting:
- Keep accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Ensure that inventory reports are kept up to date and are submitted to the housekeeping manager on a regular basis.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar position in a 5 Star Luxury Hospitality
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes
