QHSE Officer Full Time

Position Overview:

Pyxis is seeking an experienced QHSE Officer to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards for event operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with expertise in operational safety and a strong understanding of QHSE practices to contribute to high-impact projects.

Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure adherence to QHSE standards during event operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and procedures aligned with local regulations.
• Deliver training programs to staff on QHSE standards and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, audits, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with management to promote a safety-focused culture and improve operational safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Experience: Proven experience in event operational safety.
• Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory).
• Other Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid UAE driving license and access to own car.
  • Familiarity with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
