Job Description
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for project stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and variances.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including budget estimates and financial justifications.
- Monitor and control project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending appropriate actions.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing to clients or funding agencies, following project-specific guidelines.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper allocation and utilization of project funds.
- Perform regular audits and financial reconciliations to ensure compliance with project guidelines and regulations.
- Provide financial support and guidance to project teams, answering any financial-related queries or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to project accounting, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CMA qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project accounting or similar role.
- Experience working in the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
