Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Coordinator at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department. You will collaborate with department heads, managers, and room attendants to deliver exceptional service that reflects the Grand Hyatt brand’s commitment to excellence.




Key Responsibilities

• Operational Coordination: Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including task assignments and monitoring staff performance.
• Scheduling and Staffing: Create work schedules for the housekeeping team to ensure adequate coverage and optimal service.
• Inventory Management: Manage and monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory levels, ensuring availability and timely replenishment.
• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Training and Development: Onboard and train new housekeeping staff, promoting a culture of high performance and service excellence.
• Issue Resolution: Address operational challenges, guest concerns, and staff queries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• A diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.
• At least 2 years of work experience in hotel operations, particularly in housekeeping.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with team members and guests.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
