Electrician Full Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to address guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal functioning of tools, equipment, and building systems. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge in electrical systems and other general maintenance areas, ensuring seamless guest experiences and safe operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair various electrical components, including switches, outlets, lamps, and extension cords.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves and building utility shut-offs.
• Replace A/C filters, light bulbs, and perform minor drywall, wood trim, and cosmetic repairs.
• Use Lockout/Tagout systems before performing maintenance tasks.
• Assist with maintenance inventory management and requisition necessary parts and supplies.
• Support general building tasks including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Maintain external and internal landscaping, including sprinkler repairs.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts through approved programs.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience:
  • General maintenance and basic electrical repair experience preferred.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Basic knowledge in air conditioning, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic controls.
  • Proficiency in using basic computer systems for operational tasks.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license is required.
