Consultant Breast Surgeon Full Time

As a Consultant Breast Surgeon, you will have a pivotal role in providing exceptional healthcare services and surgical care for patients with breast diseases. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various breast conditions, as well as performing surgical procedures for breast cancer patients. Your expertise in breast surgery will make a significant impact on the health and well-being of the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with breast diseases, including breast cancer, breast lumps, and infections
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and provide accurate medical assessment and diagnosis
• Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient, considering their unique medical history and needs
• Perform surgical procedures, including mastectomy, lumpectomy, and breast reconstruction, while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety
• Conduct follow-up visits and monitor patients’ progress post-surgery
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and manage complex breast cancer cases
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in breast surgery and participate in continuous medical education activities
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records and comply with medical confidentiality and ethical standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as radiologists, oncologists, and pathologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and provide guidance when needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Breast Surgeon in a reputable hospital or healthcare facility
• Medical degree from an accredited institution, with specialized training in breast surgery
• Board certification as a Breast Surgeon from a recognized medical board or institution
• Valid and active medical license in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Excellent surgical skills and experience in performing breast surgeries
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Sound clinical judgment and ability to handle complex cases with confidence and compassion
• Proficient in English, additional languages are an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of medical confidentiality and ethical standards
• High level of professionalism and commitment to delivering quality patient care
