Core Technical Skills

• Ability to lead a team as a project manager for small and medium size projects including fieldwork and the target management






• Develops well drafted versions of the report on small and medium size jobs and sections of the report on larger jobs
• Builds knowledge of the parties to a transaction and demonstrates the ability to explain the mechanics of the deal
• Understands the rationale for a transaction and the basis of transaction, and uses this knowledge to deliver valued advice which meets client needs
• Plans tasks effectively (breaks down projects into manageable tasks, sets milestones, identifies resources, etc)
• Builds a network of contacts in the other KPMG functions
• Works on and updates knowledge on a specific sector or a service/product (to be agreed with Performance Manager) and keep abreast of emerging trends, legislative developments and significant announcements by key players in this sector
• Monitors how projects are progressing against the budget and deadlines
• Completes risk compliance procedures shortly after job completion
• Assists in ensuring that risk documentation are completed online for all jobs and that files are appropriately documented in accordance with Firm policy
