Telephone Operator Full Time

Position Summary:
Aloft Palm Jumeirah is looking for a Telephone Operator to be the first point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience. This role is key to delivering excellent service, handling guest calls efficiently, assisting with requests, and ensuring seamless communication between guests and various hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage incoming calls with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Address guest inquiries and assist with various requests, ensuring a timely and satisfactory resolution.
• Communicate guest needs to relevant departments, ensuring prompt follow-up.
• Provide guests with information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and events.
• Process operational tasks, manage reports, and support the front desk as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Uphold company standards in personal appearance and uniform, ensuring a professional presentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: No prior related work experience required; hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and move around for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and transport objects as needed (up to 50 pounds without assistance).
