Process all guest entries, verify guest ID, method of payment, room assignment, room key distribution and activation. Set up accounts upon guest arrival, based on guest requirements. Enter information for Marriott Rewards program. Ensure rates are in line with market rates and document exceptions. Obtain payment prior to room key release, verify and adjust billing. Compile and review occupancy reports/journals/lists daily. Complete cash register and closing reports. Provide guest information, orientation and hotel education. Respond to guest requests, directing appropriate personnel as needed.
Follow up to ensure requests have been processed. Process all types of payments, vouchers, refunds and charges. Balance and deposit receipts. Perform cash counts at the beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all procedures as directed by Accounting. Notify Property and Life Protection/Security if a guest reports a theft. Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and reference for Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; work together and support each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Follow and enforce all chain policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; appear neat and professional at all times while in the workplace; maintain confidentiality of hotel information; protect all company assets. Greet and receive guests, anticipate and respond to guest needs, assist individuals with mobility issues and thank guests warmly. Speak clearly and professionally; Prepare and edit written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate language. Ensure quality standards are met. Enter and locate information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads weighing up to 4.5 kilos independently. Perform all other tasks requested by managers and appropriate to the position.

Education Level:High school diploma or high school equivalency.
Related Work Experience:At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
