Specialist Anesthesia Full Time

As a Specialist Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia services to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. This includes performing pre-operative evaluations, administering anesthesia during surgery, and providing post-operative care.




Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments to determine the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia for each patient
• Administer anesthesia during surgery, monitoring, and adjusting levels as necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with surgeons and other members of the surgical team to ensure the smooth running of procedures
• Provide post-operative care and pain management to patients as needed
• Educate patients and their families on anesthesia options, risks, and expectations
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient interactions
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in anesthesia techniques and equipment

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Anesthesia from the American Board of Medical Specialties or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Specialist Anesthesiologist
• Must be Western-trained.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
