Sous Chef Full Time

Job Summary:

Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, creative dishes while upholding food safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of dishes to maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
• Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
• Monitor and enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
• Collaborate on menu development, contribute to new dish ideas, and enhance guest experience.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Address any issues or challenges promptly and maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-paced kitchen environment.
• Education: Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong culinary techniques, food safety knowledge, and leadership abilities.
