MEP Storekeeper Full Time

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced MEP Storekeeper to manage our inventory of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and Electromechanical materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for the efficient organization, tracking, and storage of materials to support ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of MEP and Electromechanical materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
• Perform regular stock-taking and update inventory management systems.
• Ensure all materials are properly stored, safeguarded, and organized for easy access.
• Coordinate with project teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
• Manage and track material movement, ensuring proper documentation for each transaction.
• Handle the return of defective or unused items to suppliers.
• Maintain a clean and organized store area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the preparation of material requisitions and orders as needed.
• Provide reports on material usage, stock levels, and any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Storekeeper or in a related role within the MEP/Electromechanical industry.
• Experience with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with project teams and suppliers.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
