Logistics Officer Full Time

Zahr Freighters is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, ensuring efficient shipment processes, and maintaining compliance with customs procedures. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with customs procedures and duty exemption requirements in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, quality personnel, and other stakeholders regarding shipment and receipt of products.

Compile carrier and route assignments for efficient transport.

Track, trace, and provide updates on the status of shipments.

Provide additional support to the shipping and receiving departments as needed.

Ensure timely and accurate handling of all logistics-related documentation and processes.

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A strong sense of time management, organization, and urgency.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export processes.
