Junior Accountant Full Time
Job Summary:
INDEX Holding is seeking a Junior Accountant with 1-2 years of general accounting experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting various accounting functions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting knowledge and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and record sales invoices in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle any additional general accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
