IT Officer Full Time

Gulf Indian High School is seeking an IT Officer (Female Candidate) to manage and support the school’s technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all IT systems, networks, and software applications run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the school’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to staff and students in troubleshooting IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and networking equipment.
• Ensure that the school’s data security policies and protocols are followed and maintained.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of school-based software and systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the school’s IT environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an IT Officer or in a similar IT role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
• Familiarity with school-based software and systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
