Hills & Fort Construction L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld across our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and best practices within the construction industry.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and records as required by local authorities and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety programs and initiatives, recommending improvements as necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry within the UAE.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Certification: NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• License: A valid UAE driving license is required.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
