HSE Field Supervisor Full Time NEW

The HSE Field Supervisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) support for field operations and construction activities in Oxy’s Abu Dhabi Block 3 & 5. Reporting to the HSE Team Lead, the role emphasizes fostering a proactive HSE culture, ensuring compliance with standards, managing contractor performance, and driving incident prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a visible HSE leader, promoting and implementing a robust safety culture.
• Oversee onboarding processes for personnel, contractors, and vendors to meet all HSE requirements before work commencement.
• Lead and mentor contractor HSE personnel, focusing on proactive workforce engagement.
• Ensure compliance with PSPGs, ADNOC HSE standards, and other local and international Oil & Gas industry regulations.
• Manage control of work systems, including Permit to Work (PTW) and Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS).
• Facilitate and lead incident investigations, applying root cause analysis tools like Taproot.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance and implement programs to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in HSE/Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in operations and construction within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Expertise in local and international HSE standards, legislation, and industry best practices.
• Proficient in PTW, SIMOPS management, and monitoring HSE performance.
• Skilled in incident investigations and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to implement practical solutions effectively.
