A typical day involves performing technically demanding work on-site in a specialized area of Field Service for generators. They effectively identify problems as they arise and take appropriate steps to resolve complex issues. Additionally, they adhere to site and EHS instructions and protocols to ensure safety and compliance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Performs complex, specialized tasks on turbine and generator equipment during new installations, overhauls, repairs, or modifications in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
• Completes documentation for all installations, inspections, maintenance, repair work, and any failures encountered.
• Conducts Enwinding Enhancement as part of service operations.
• Handles complex service calls and collaborates with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Assesses equipment condition and applies repair or improvement measures based on a standard catalog of corrective actions.
• Participates in responding to semi-complex service calls to ensure effective resolution of issues.

What You Bring

• The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Field Service.
• They possess expertise in electrical testing and mechanical activities, including the disassembly and reassembly of generators.
• Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential, along with experience working in multicultural teams.
• Experience in generator stator and rotor rewinding, whether in a workshop or on-site, is considered an advantage.
• The candidate must be willing to work abroad and perform shift work, as frequent travel is required.
• A vocational school, technical college, or university degree in Electrical Engineering is necessary, along with a result-driven attitude, initiative, partnership skills, and self-motivation.
