General Accountant Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction/manufacturing industry in the UAE, and must be available for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Financial Transactions including accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure compliance with all tax and financial requirements of Dubai and the UAE

• Prepare budget forecasts and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

• Reconcile accounts and ensure timely bank payments

• Process payroll and handle tax calculations and returns

• Manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and report on the company’s financial health

• Support audit of financial transactions and ensure confidentiality of data

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and manage WPS

• Handle cash/petty cash balance and other day-to-day accounting activities

• Follow up on payments and ensure financial accuracy

• Execute tasks as assigned by Managers and Seniors

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry in UAE)

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Fluent in English

• Must be available immediately in the UAE

• Familiar with VAT returns and WPS payroll processing
