General Accountant Full Time

Position Overview:

EHTS is seeking a skilled General Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring over three years of experience, strong expertise in IFRS, and hands-on proficiency with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of bank statements.
• Process payroll, VAT filing, and other statutory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support management in decision-making.
• Handle month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
