We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic English Teacher to join our thriving school community. Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design & Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lesson plans in English, tailored to the needs of students at various levels, following both national and international curricula.
• Instruction: Provide high-quality instruction in English literature, language arts, grammar, and composition, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Assessment & Feedback: Use formative and summative assessment strategies to track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to ensure continuous improvement.
• Student Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow English department members and other staff members on cross-curricular projects and interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Parental Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to keep up-to-date with best practices in teaching and English curriculum trends.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A teaching qualification or diploma in education (e.g., PGCE, teaching certification).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably within international or British curricula.
• Proven expertise in teaching English at the secondary school level, including language arts, literature, and writing.
• Strong knowledge of assessment strategies and the ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Proficiency in English (native or British English speakers preferred).
