English and Media Studies Teacher Full Time

​GEMS Education is seeking an outstanding English and Media Studies Teacher to join the team at Cambridge International School – Dubai starting in September 2025. ​

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach English and Media Studies in accordance with the British Curriculum, ensuring engaging and effective lessons.​

• Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subjects.​

• Assessment and Reporting: Evaluate student progress through assignments and examinations, providing timely feedback and reports to students and parents.​

• Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development programs to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.​

• Extracurricular Involvement: Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, promoting a holistic educational experience for students.​

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related subject, along with a PGCE or PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.​

• Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching English and Media Studies within the British Curriculum framework.​

• Skills:

  • Ability to share and implement outstanding teaching practices.​

  • Creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.​

  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.​
