Consultant Neurology Full Time

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Consultant Neurology to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Consultant Neurology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, as well as consulting with other physicians and healthcare professionals. This is a full-time role based in Abu Dhabi, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and exams, including neurological assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations, to diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, and blood work, to aid in diagnosis and treatment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient based on their specific condition and needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, therapists, and pharmacists, to provide a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurology and participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Act as a resource and mentor to junior physicians and medical students
• Ensure compliance with all standards and regulations, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Communicate and educate patients and their families on treatment options and provide information on lifestyle changes to manage their condition effectively

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Neurology from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neurology, preferably in a hospital setting
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills, with a strong understanding of neurological conditions, diseases, and disorders
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
• Must be Western-trained
