Consultant Interventional Cardiologist Full Time

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and possess strong clinical skills. This position will be based in Dubai and will involve working with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care and treatment for patients with cardiovascular diseases, including diagnosing and treating conditions such as heart attacks, angina, arrhythmias, and heart failure
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional procedures, such as angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies
• Provide round-the-clock coverage for inpatient and emergency cardiology services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, in consultation with other specialists and healthcare professionals
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and educate them on lifestyle changes for better heart health
• Stay up-to-date with advances in cardiology and participate in continuing medical education activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care and timely interventions for patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities within the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in a reputable hospital or healthcare facility
• Proven experience in performing a wide range of interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies
• Solid clinical skills and knowledge of current cardiology practices and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to providing excellent patient care and staying updated with the latest developments in the field
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume workload and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be Western-trained
