Consultant Breast Radiologist Full Time

As a consultant breast radiologist, you will be responsible for using state-of-the-art imaging technology to accurately diagnose and monitor breast diseases, including breast cancer. You will be a vital member of our imaging department, working closely with our team of specialized radiologists, technologists, and other medical professionals to provide the highest level of patient care.




Responsibilities

• Conducting and interpreting breast imaging studies, including mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRI scans
• Identifying and diagnosing abnormalities in breast tissue
• Providing accurate and timely reports to referring physicians
• Working with other physicians to create appropriate treatment plans for patients
• Performing procedures such as breast biopsies and needle localizations
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in breast imaging technology and techniques
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
• Participating in quality assurance and improvement activities
• Providing consultations to other physicians and medical professionals
• Mentoring and training junior radiologists and technologists

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with sub-specialty training in Breast Imaging
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Consultant Breast Radiologist
• Current and active medical license in the United Arab Emirates
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of breast anatomy, pathology, and physiology
• Proficient in a wide range of breast imaging techniques and equipment
• Experience with 3D mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Fluency in English and and Arabic is a plus
