Job Overview

We are seeking a Commis I with a passion for culinary excellence to join our Origins restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ), strong teamwork skills, and a guest-focused mindset. This role is key to ensuring high-quality food production and service in line with 5-star hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with HACCP and local food regulations.
• Support the F&B production team by conducting all operational tasks as per service standards.
• Engage proactively with guests and team members, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
• Address guest concerns with a positive attitude and service recovery approach.
• Strive to exceed guest expectations by going the extra mile and adding a personal touch.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High School Diploma in Catering; a College Degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hospitality company.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of food preparation, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of local and international cuisine is an advantage.
• Soft Skills:
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills with a guest-first approach.
