Assistant PR & Marketing Manager Full Time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant PR & Marketing Manager to promote and enhance the Courtyard by Marriott brand. This role is instrumental in supporting sales and marketing activities, developing strong relationships with potential clients, and building guest loyalty through effective brand awareness campaigns. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to maximize revenue, maintain excellent guest relations, and ensure the brand message aligns with Marriott’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Marriott’s brand image both internally and externally through PR and marketing initiatives.
• Use strategic sales techniques to boost revenue while preserving guest loyalty.
• Engage potential clients via calls to schedule preview package sales and tours.
• Provide detailed explanations and set eligibility expectations for sales presentations.
• Offer complimentary items to guests, such as rewards points or show tickets, to build guest satisfaction.
• Support administrative tasks including handling messages, email communications, and organizing documentation.

Team Support and Development:

• Assist in training, motivating, and coaching team members to ensure high service standards.
• Act as a positive role model and initial contact for employee concerns.
• Uphold company policies, ensure professional appearance standards, and safeguard guest and employee confidentiality.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, addressing guest needs promptly and appropriately.
• Develop positive team relations and respond effectively to any concerns raised by staff.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience in PR, marketing, or sales.
• Certification: None required.
