Assistant Accountant Full Time

Job Description:

Al Jazira Exchange is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves assisting with day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for candidates with foundational experience in accounting and strong Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and assist with data entry in accounting systems.
• Support in preparing financial reports and statements.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years in an accounting or finance role.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of accounting principles.
• Language: Proficiency in English.
• Residency: UAE residency and relevant UAE experience are mandatory.
