Accounts & Payable Full Time

Job Overview:
Thani Murshid Trading Company L.L.C is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Vendor Management: Handle vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong communication.
• Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and address any discrepancies.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and disburse timely payments to vendors.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to facilitate prompt invoice payments.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end closing, report preparation, and analysis.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments for accurate coding and classification of expenses.
• Audit Support: Provide assistance to internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on best practices and changes in accounting regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the UAE banking sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) with experience in Purchase Order matching, advanced Excel (including VLOOKUP), and Power BI.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Additional Requirements: Based in Abu Dhabi with immediate availability preferred.
