Accountant Full Time

Job Description:

Our law firm client in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to join their team and play a key role in managing essential accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in VAT and corporate tax management, regional compliance, and support for payables and revenue processes, particularly within the service or legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• VAT and Corporate Tax Management: Oversee all regional VAT filings and corporate tax processes, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
• Tax Audits: Handle tax assessments, liaise with tax auditors, and support audit processes.
• Transfer Pricing: Maintain and manage transfer pricing mechanisms between regional offices.
• Team Support: Collaborate with Payables and Revenue teams to optimize process efficiency.
• Time Tracking Management: Oversee Timekeeper rates and resolve any related queries to ensure accurate tracking.
• Financial Audits: Assist in annual financial audits and ensure implementation of any audit recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years with an accounting firm in the UAE, ideally within the service or legal industry.
• Education: University degree in Accounting or related field; post-graduate qualifications are a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of ELITE or 3E accounting software is preferred.
• Communication: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Salary: 13,000 – 18,000 AED
