Job Overview:
We are seeking an Experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading Flowers Trading and Events Company. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of UAE experience and expertise in accounts management, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable & payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Perform bank reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow management.
Oversee payroll processing and maintain accurate records of employee salaries and deductions.
Handle petty cash and expense reports, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT & corporate tax) and financial regulations.
Prepare auditing reports and liaise with external auditors.
Work with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping and reporting.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in flowers trading or events is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE tax laws and financial regulations.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, problem-solver, and able to work independently and within a team.
