Accountant Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Andaz Dubai The Palm. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the accounting functions within the Accounting Department. You will work in alignment with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards while meeting the expectations of employees, guests, and owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the efficient operation of the Accounting Department, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage budgets and financial planning.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Contribute to process improvements and support the implementation of accounting best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant degree or diploma in Finance, Commerce, or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant or Accounting Clerk in a larger operation.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
