Technical Support Engineer Full Time

Role Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering value-added engineering services to customers and field teams. Your role will include providing technical support, preparing engineering calculations, and assisting in the development of material take-offs and bills of quantities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and high-quality engineering documentation.




Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time technical support to customers via phone and internal teams.
• Develop technical expertise within Hilti Stores and Customer Service teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Project Management to create high-quality technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain technical submittals, warranties, consultant comments, and certifications.
• Support field teams with Bill of Quantities, Anchor/Rebar designs, and engineering calculations.
• Manage and update engineering folders with approvals, specifications, and datasheets.
• Oversee certification renewals (ADCE, DEWA, ADCO) and vendor list updates.
• Ensure all datasheets, third-party test reports, and documentation remain up to date.

Qualifications & Requirements

• UAE National with a UAE Family Book (as per UAE Emiratisation law).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in solving complex engineering problems.
• Goal-oriented and solution-driven personality.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English & Arabic.
• High learning agility with a willingness to develop within the engineering field.
• Ability to work independently while following guidance in complex situations.
• Strong time management skills with flexibility to meet deadlines as required.
• Dubai-based or willing to relocate/commute within the UAE.
