Procurement Engineer Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Focus:

• Act as a TESG ambassador, upholding company values and ethics.






• Strengthen stakeholder relationships through clear communication and collaboration.
• Adhere to Toshiba’s Standard of Conduct and HSE safety guidelines.

Functional Focus:

• Supplier Management: Identify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings.
• Project Procurement: Prepare Bill of Procurement, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Material (BOM) for HV/EHV substation projects.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Cost & Risk Management: Ensure procurement transactions comply with legal and contractual requirements while mitigating risks.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on procurement performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• 6 – 10 years of procurement experience in the energy & power industry (GCC/UAE).
• Strong experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and HV/EHV substation projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of relay selection for substations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Solid understanding of cost control, project risk assessment, and contract management.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical information.
