About the Role
Atlantis Dubai is seeking a passionate and skilled Commis Chef 2 (Pastry) to join our world-class culinary team. This role is perfect for individuals with a foundational understanding of kitchen operations who are eager to develop their expertise under the guidance of award-winning chefs. You will assist in preparing high-quality pastry and dessert items while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods as per established recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Continuously learn and improve pastry techniques under the mentorship of senior chefs.
About You
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international luxury hotel.
- Strong knowledge of basic pastry techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering world-class experiences.
