Consultant Cardiac Surgeon Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consults and develop individualized treatment plans for cardiac surgical interventions.
• Perform complex cardiac surgeries, including heart transplants, coronary bypass surgeries, valvular repairs, and congenital repair procedures.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to ensure the highest quality of care and outcomes for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients.
• Participate in regular departmental meetings and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in cardiac surgery.
• Train and mentor junior medical staff, including residents, fellows, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery or related specialty.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon in a reputable hospital or healthcare facility.
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery or Advanced Cardiac Surgery Techniques is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Must be Western-trained.
