Steel Estimation Engineer Full Time

KG Group is a leading provider of steel fabrication and erection services, delivering high-quality and innovative solutions to a diverse range of industries across the UAE. We are currently seeking a Steel Estimation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects, considering materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to gather project details and specifications.
• Analyze blueprints and technical documents to prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate and select the most cost-effective materials and methods for each project.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and confirm costs.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals to clients, ensuring all estimates align with project scope and budget.
• Assist in project planning and support in identifying potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in steel estimation, especially for fabrication and erection projects.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, materials, and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
