Consultant Pediatric Radiology Full Time

As a leading healthcare consultancy, Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pediatric Radiology to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized radiological services to pediatric patients, including diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and consultation with other healthcare professionals. The role requires expertise in pediatric radiology techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing quality care to children.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic scans and imaging procedures on pediatric patients, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses for pediatric patients.
• Interpret diagnostic images and make recommendations for further testing or treatment plans.
• Administer contrast media or radiation, and take necessary safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure to children.
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures, such as biopsies and drainages, on pediatric patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their parents/caregivers, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing radiological procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric radiology technology and techniques, and participate in continuing education and training programs.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completed residency in diagnostic radiology with additional fellowship training in pediatric radiology
• Board certification in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pediatric radiology
• Expertise in all aspects of radiological imaging, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals
• Proficiency in using medical imaging software and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Must be Western-trained
