Consultant Neurosurgeon (Endoscopic) Full Time

As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing specialized and comprehensive care for patients with neurological disorders and diseases. Your primary focus will be on utilizing endoscopic techniques to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct endoscopic procedures for various neurological conditions including tumors, aneurysms, and spinal disorders
• Perform pre-operative evaluations of patients and discuss treatment plans with them and their families
• Utilize advanced techniques and technology to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment
• Monitor patients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients
• Stay updated with advancements and developments in the field of neurology and endoscopic techniques
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Neurosurgery
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon with expertise in endoscopic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Must be Western-trained
