Storekeeper Full Time

Zahr Freighters is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our inventory and ensure efficient operations in our Dubai facility. This role is vital to maintaining seamless supply chain processes and supporting our commitment to excellence.




Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including receipts, issuances, and transfers.
• Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking and coordinate timely replenishments.
• Warehouse Organization: Ensure goods are stored in an organized and easily accessible manner, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Receiving and Inspection: Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, reporting discrepancies or damaged items.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue materials or products for outgoing shipments or internal use as per requests.
• Documentation: Maintain and update inventory systems, including stock registers, and generate periodic inventory reports.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols within the storage areas to ensure a safe working environment.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to streamline inventory-related processes.
• Cycle Counting: Conduct regular physical stock counts to reconcile system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of storage equipment and tools.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle manual tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
