Financial Controller Full Time

Your tasks

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Support preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance, including but not limited to Business Unit and Product line Margin analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  
  
  

2. Cost Centre and Profit Centre accounting

• Provide guidance to the subsidiary with regards to cost & employee allocation according to Krones guidelines and structure to ensure accurate reporting
• concurrent ongoing review, corrective actions and update of cost centers and profit centers along with monthly reporting allocations, comparing and providing actionable guidance for variances between actual performance with budget and forecast respectively.
• lead annual planning for budget and forecast logic determination activity rate calculation and allocations as well as assessment distribution determination along with management.
• Review monthly reporting allocations and provide recommendations to management and financial accounting department regarding secondary cost allocation for corresponding underutilization and over/under-absorption of cost.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, coordinating with department heads and regional team to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Monitor budget / forecast variances against actual, providing explanations and actionable recommendations.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with Krones policies and regional regulations.

5. Cost Management & Efficiency:

• Monitor and manage costs across the MENA region, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Collaborate with local teams to improve financial and operational efficiency.

6. Contract Management:

• Oversee financial aspects of contract management, ensuring alignment with policies and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with sales and operational teams to draft and review contract terms, assess financial risk, and ensure contract deliverables align with budget and revenue expectations, in line with the DOA & Krones guidelines

7. Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and develop a high-performing controlling team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree, CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a financial controller or similar role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial processes, reporting, and regional tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, team-player, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; Arabic or another regional language is a plus.
• Ability to travel within the MENA region as needed.
