The Opportunity
Roche Middle East subregion is recruiting a Strategic Consultant to support and deliver projects for strategic existing and new customers. This role offers an opportunity to support Roche Diagnostics in expanding its profile from solution provider to strategic partner for stakeholders beyond the laboratory, further strengthening our position in the healthcare ecosystem.
The successful Strategic Consultant will be embedded in the Sub region Team and support the Middle East countries in our sub-region.
Your Responsibilities
– Leads change management projects with focus on organizational sustainability, and economic ROI, guiding clients to achieve the objectives set, or making them aware of the opportunities.
– Facilitates and monitors change processes in healthcare organizations and introduces technological/digital/organizational innovations.
– Enable our customers to create value on 3 levels: within the laboratory or hospital provider on workflow efficiency and staff satisfaction, economical value for the different stakeholders involved (lab physicians, clinicians, C-suite, …), positively impact access, time-to-result and outcomes for patients
– Assess the changes necessary in healthcare ecosystems today to deliver the economic and clinical benefit of new approaches or solutions.
– Identify the need for Organizational sustainability and Healthcare transformation projects together with Sales and other colleagues.
– Find possibilities for strategic consulting projects together with sales
– Perform RIE according to global guidelines to improve the processes at a customer, leading to improvement of the relationship with customers
– Collaborate in consulting teams in a constructive way. Understand the different points of view of different stakeholders and create a solution to the best customer satisfaction possible.
Who You Are
– You hold a University and post graduate degree preferably in life sciences or economics. An MBA is considered a plus
– You have at least 7 years of strategic consultancy (Healthcare c-suite level) experience. Ideal candidate worked in a similar role and have completed Roche Strategic consulting, process consulting, and Lean training
– You are strong in analyzing data, conceptualize customer’s problems, and “selling” the solution with a strong understanding of Healthcare System structure and functionality
– You have worked with lean methodology and facilitated rapid improvement events
– You have strong project management, planning, and organizational capabilities and a track record in managing change management projects
– You have worked with different software applications including Excel
– You have strong leadership skills and are experience in leading, motivating and guiding project team(s)
– You are flexible and willing to travel within the region
