Job Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible for effectively contributing to the long term and short term strategy of EKFC1 business units by analyzing, integrating, presenting and reporting key operational data. He/she will be responsible for gathering, consolidating, visualizing, analyzing, inferring and presenting essential data and reports for management review and strategic decision-making purposes.
Key Result Areas:
1. Efficiently support EKFC1 business units in making informed strategic decisions by gathering, consolidating, studying, visualizing, analyzing, inferring and presenting key operational data/trend.
2. Effectively contribute to improving planning by providing meal forecast data on the services schedule based on the meal uplift and expected demand quantity (Pax load) on daily/weekly/monthly basis
3. Contribute to controlling over-production, waste, and shortages by formulating on time accurate forecast analysis reports.
4. Develop predictive analysis for business units to accurately predict and effortlessly plan daily material requirements for all the outbound departures based on the inbound arrivals.
5. Proactively engage with internal and external customer (where required) for Galley Loading Plans (GLP) and Production updates and ensure departments are informed regularly of galley loading plans (GLP)/production planning changes.
6. Ensure clarification of data to internal customers in terms of integrity, verification, follow up and response.
7. Maintain schedules for recurring operational tasks, track key client and project meta data and assist in evaluating task priorities.
8. Consistently re-evaluate data and related processes to ensure compliance and regular improvement.
9. Prepare and provide scheduled & adhoc reports and dashboards for management review and information
10. Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety policies and report any Health & Safety hazards along with unsafe acts and conditions to the duty officer or manager.
Job Context:
The Central Scheduling Department supports business units through accurate data analysis, presentation and reporting. The jobholder engages and lends support to management by correlating information that is then analysed, presented and reported through dashboards. This role demands attention to detail and critical analyses of data to ensure internal business units are provided with most accurate business reports. Collaboration and teamwork amongst the members of Central Scheduling Department and internal departments is critical to this role, to ensure successful delivery of KPIs. The jobholder*s expectation is to deliver key projects at set timelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:
Education Qualification:
a) Higher Secondary Certificate Qualification or equivalent qualification (must have)
b) Diploma in computer applications (preferred).
Work Experience:
* Years of Experience: 4 years.
* Area of Experience: IT and Administrative roles.
Skills:
* Expert knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
* Strong technology skills; Ability to learn new technology.
* Demonstrated knowledge of database design and data techniques.
* Experience with analytical software and basic statistical analysis.
* Ability to collect, document, and organize large amounts of data.
* Ability to work in a constantly changing, collaborative and a time critical work environment.
* Display careful attention to detail and accuracy in work habits.
* Demonstrated ability to present data analysis results to Operation Managers / Heads of department.
b. Preferred
* Experience in creating and managing databases.
* Experience with VBA scripting and/or macros etc.
* Working with, extending and defining data interchange standards and best practices.
* Hands on experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.
* Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
